At the Annual Angeles Chapter Awards Banquet in May, Paul Rosenberger (standing, plaid shirt) received the Special Service Award, for continuing excellence in publicizing the activities of the Palos Verdes-South Bay (PV-SB) Regional Group.

The PV-SB Group AGAIN received the Membership & Fundraising Service Certificate for recruiting more new Sierra Club members in 2017 than any other entity in the Angeles Chapter. Bill Lavoie (holding certificates) has been the leader in this outreach, especially at public events, assisted by several people, especially Frank Atkin (second from left) and Kevin Schlunegger (third from right).
